a very important day

today is a very important day for 2 reasons:

1. after working a combined total of 97 years, both of my parents are retiring today! and i could not be any more jealous...

2. at 8am this morning, ashley was taken back for surgery to remove her main tumor...the one that all of the cancer is feeding from...she is up in NYC for the surgery and recovery...the surgery will take about 8 hours...please keep her and her family (cause i know the waiting is rough on the family and friends who are sitting in the lobby) in your thoughts and prayers today...
