toffee pretzel bark (adapted from brown eyed baker)
1 bag of dark chocolate chips
1 bag of white chocolate chips
1 cup toffee bits
1 cup crushed pretzels
prepare a cookie sheet (that will fit in your refrigerator!) by lining with wax or parchment paper. melt dark chocolate chips slowly in double boiler (or microwave...i think microwaves are evil and rarely use them...but that's another story for another day) until smooth. mix half of the toffee bits and half of the crushed pretzels into the melted dark chocolate. spread mixture on prepared cookie sheet til about 1/4" thick...you'll know when it's right...i promise! place cookie sheet with chocolate in refrigerator for at least 30 minutes.
melt white chocolate chips using same method you did for dark chocolate chips...when completely melted, remove cookie sheet from refrigerator and spread white chocolate over entire surface...sprinkle remaining toffee bits and crushed pretzels over white chocolate and press down using your fingertips...place cookie sheet back in refrigerator for another 30 minutes.
break bark into pieces and store in an airtight tin (i'm keeping mine in the refrigerator) or place in cello bags and give as gifts. ENJOY!
