the 'i cannot wait for fall to get here' giveaway

the cooler weather the past few days has really gotten me in the mood for fall...i'm ready to say goodbye to summer and hello to apple cider, turning leaves, crisp mornings and pumpkins!

so in order to celebrate what is certain to come, i decided to do a giveaway...all you have to do is leave a comment...simple as that...or maybe i'll make you tell me something....hmmm...

okay, you have to tell me what signals fall to you.

to me it's when there is a nip in the air every morning for at least a week...i like having to wear a light cotton sweater in the mornings on the drive to work...i was looking at the lands end catalog this week and saw some fabulous argyle cardigans in fall color combinations...i want one...bad...

oh, what am i giving away???
(winners randomly drawn monday nite at 8pm est)

i'm giving away TWO items (therefore there will be 2 winners)

1) this new halloween bunting i whipped up using some new fabrics

i love the candy corn fabric!

2) the jack 'o lantern pixie stick at the top of the post

AND

there is also a super duper fall giveaway going on over at ragus pug so go visit sandy (and be sure to check out her new etsy store while you are there)...GoOd LuCk, everyone!

I love your items in the giveaway! I like the fall festivals that go on around this area. There's the Greek Festival and the Shrimp Festival and the Great Gulf Coast Art Show and the FAIR!!! But you can usually wear shorts to all these festivals here...not much cooler weather.

It's when there is less humidity and a chill in the air. The first night that I need a sweatshirt. When I have to start wearing socks again.

Cute cute pumpkin pixie stick!

Probably the chill in the air and college football starting.

I love feeling the chill in the air when you first get up in the morning and when the sun goes down.

Two things mean fall-
1) Going into a retail store and seeing (gasp) long sleeves and HOODS! I like to ignore this one since it's usually early August.
2) Pumpkin flavored anything out at Starbucks, Dunkin Donuts, etc. THAT means fall. I love it!

I think the start of football does it for me because we don't really have typically fall weather until much later. Please put my name in for the giveaway.

Fall means leaves falling, a chill in the air, and family walks after dinner.

Those items came out darling! For me, too, it is the morning nip in the air that makes me feel like fall is here.

To me, fall is when you can enjoy an ice cream cone without worrying about it melting all over your hand. :)

Ooh I LOVE Halloween! I esp love decorating for Halloween! Ok, what Fall means to me, by Shanny. Fall means my favorite time of the year. My favorite holidays. Means that Halloween is just around the corner- I love seeing all the neighborhood kids when they are trick or treating. Fall means football. And that means I'll never get to watch a decent show on Sundays or Monday nights. Fall means no more sweating because temps are falling. Fall means fun festivals up in the mountains. Fall is the most beautiful time of year in the Carolinas. And that's what Fall means to me. :)

I adore fall of all the seasons. Seeing the Halloween candy out is usually my first peek into fall. When the pumpkins start showing up in huge boxes in front of the store is my favorite signal.

Enter me!

I should do a fall giveaway, maybe I will.
