may day giveaway! TIME'S UP...

welcome to everyone hopping over from sew, mama, sew to my 'may day giveaway'! i had a lot of fun participating in the december givaway, 'met' many wonderful people and discovered lots and lots of fabulous blogs...so i just had to join in on this one too...and i'm giving away another bunting from my etsy store - "fait pour vous ~ made for you"

since this past weekend marked the unofficial start of summer, i'm giving away a patriotic bunting for summer decorating:
buntings are such a fun decoration...i keep one hanging somewhere in my house pretty much year round...if i ever have a bad day at work (which it seems is most everyday) when i walk in the house to a cheery bunting hanging in the kitchen window it brightens my spirits immediately! plus i'm a big fan of seasonal decorating for EVERY holiday big or small...

this patriotic bunting would be perfect for july 4th, a summer bbq, memorial day, to welcome home an armed services member, the olympics (i had one hanging all last summer in honor of the beijing games), etc...it measures 9' long and has nine fluttery pennants cut from blue star print and red star/stripes print...

all you have to do to win this banner is leave me a comment and let me know what signifies the beginning of summer to you...
for me, summer begins when it's warm enough outside to wear flip flops! around these parts that's sometime in mid april! i really love flip flops - they are my shoe of choice...i have an entire bin of them in all colors and designs...nothing means summer like red polished toes and some flops...
here's the rules:
  • only one comment per person, please, telling what signifies the beginning of summer for you
  • i will ship international
  • comments open until may 31st
  • drawing by random number generator
  • please make sure that i can contact you in some manner...if i cannot get in touch with the first winner i will draw another number
  • i think that's all!
  • oh, winner to be announced june 1st (yippee...june is my birthday month...i just may have MORE giveaways in honor of that...hmmmmm)

thanks for taking the time to visit my blog, my etsy store and for entering my giveaway...i hope that you will continue to visit!
