i think i'm officially an addict...

for reals i'm not even going to say how many pairs of amy butler's wide leg lounge pants i've made for myself...it's crazy...i can whip out a pair in about 2 hours if the fabric has already been prewashed...i bought this fabric AFTER valentine's day (read cheap/on sale) and finished them sunday evening:

i think even though it is a valentine fabric that it could be worn year round...it's not too too valentiney...they are soooo comfy...i have them on right now...i need to figure out how to get away with wearing them to work....hmmmm...

AM asked if i was going to sell them in the etsy shop...answer: no...why?...well for one thing it takes almost 3 yards of fabric, plus add in my time and shipping and who in their right mind would buy them? you can go to target and get lounge pants for $10...so no, they won't be showing up in the etsy store ever....however, if you really want a pair i will be more than glad to make them for you....just email me & we will discuss...

BUT...here are the things i'm currently working on for the etsy shop:
  • painted wooden crosses for easter (or they would make a nice baby gift, christening gift as they can be personalized)...i hope to list one late tomorrow if i have enough light to snap a good picture
  • tea wallets....i'm still tweaking the pattern to my liking...
  • easter banners (using the fun fabrics from hobby lobby)
  • 2 more girlie birthday party banners
  • a couple more random banners (parties, everyday use, whatever, just for fun)
  • a custom 'welcome' sign (or could say whatever you wanted, i suppose)
  • full monogram canvases (instead of the single initial)

i hope to have a few new items listed by this sunday evening...assuming i do more than thumb thru all my new sewing/cooking/craft books every nite...which is another post unto itself...

Glad to see you are stocking the shop up. I see what you mean about the PJ pants. Maybe when you are hugely famous, you can charge $30 a pair for a kristie creation PJ pant and people will buy them up. :)
