mondo mondo!

last week i talked a LOT about dwarf mondo grass and the plethora we have right now to plant...here's a little view into our current world:

a partially filled tray of mondo

the husband holds ONE piece that has been pulled off the clump

yes kids, i pull that stuff apart into individual pieces...and we have about 3 bajillion of them to plant!

the husband uses a bulb planter/digger/thingie to dig a hole...here he was working on filling in the side yard area...this is the 3rd time we have planted/filled in that area...it's getting fairly thick now...like a carpet...that's the goal

the husband has dug several holes now

everyone likes to dig the holes...

planting the individual piece

3 newly planted pieces
it's a slow process...that's pretty much what we did this weekend...more pictures tomorrow if it stops raining long enough for me to take some 'afters'...

please enjoy the fire while i go dream about dwarf mondo grass...

That looks like a lot of work but it's going to look great!

Did drinking the wine help you plant faster or slow you down? : )

OHG I can't believe you pull apart every piece, that's a lot of work but I'm sure will be worth it in the end.

That is a lot of work and it sure will look good when it all grows in. I love your fireplace!
