weekend update ~ busy bee edition

ahhh, the weekend seems like forever ago!

friday: left work at 4pm (woohoo), went to bj's, grocery store, in-laws church to change a lite bulb, chick-fil-a drive thru for ice cream sundaes, sewed on some banners, did one load of laundry.

saturday: up early to go to post office (2 of y'all should be on the lookout for packages), started painting canvas for co-worker (another custom nursery piece), took one zillion phone books to the recycling center, made eggnog pancakes and turkey bacon for dinner, washed 3 loads of laundry.

giant canvas for co-worker...boring now, gonna be ultra cool later

: slept late, vacuumed house, general cleaning/straightening, more canvas painting, 8 loads of laundry, made 6 mini loaves of banana bread, finished reading a book, cooked rice for week's lunches, cooked a london broil from the freezer in the crock pot all day long for lunches (it's very good, will share recipe later), ate leftover pancakes and bacon for dinner.

it was a busy weekend and when it was over, i was tired...that was an insane amount of laundry! click
here to see what tyler did this weekend...

Did you eat dinner at Chick Fil A too? Cause you only mentioned the ice cream sundaes, and I worry about you getting a balanced meal... :)

Where does the laundry sit while it awaits being laundered? Lots of hampers? Do you have a laundry room or closet?

I probably do a load every day or other day because we dont have the room to house it otherwise. Plus, I enjoy it. Not so much the putting it away part though. Hate that.

Am interested in your london broil recipe. Knowing not a lot, how is a london broil different than a pot roast?

I'm looking forward to seeing the next painted canvas! And the crock pot recipe. I have seen london broils on sale and not sure how to cook them so I'd be glad to see what you do with it.

I don't mind doing laundry but I wish it would magically iron itself, fold itself, and place itself on hangers when dry. I hate that part.

Looking forward to seeing what you are going to create on that canvas.
