weekend update!

finally i'm able to post...i had all sorts of problems this morning with blogger...boo, blogger!

friday:

  • left work at 4:45!

  • went to gas station, supertarget and grocery store

  • forget what dinner was, i think maybe a bowl of cereal...the husband wasn't hungry

  • sewed up 2 easter banners

  • packed up things to take to post office

saturday:

  • up at crack of dawn to be at post office when they opened, mailed 2 packages

  • went to joann fabrics and got some 'supplies'

  • vacuumed entire house (save for mantown - i don't clean that...cause i'm a
    girl)

  • mopped all hardwoods and ceramic tile baths (i'm not even gonna say when i did that last...cause y'all would lose all respect for me)

  • cleaned kitchen

  • made the husband go get chick-fil-a for lunch (oink, oink)

  • made 2 limited edition summer banners (are you curious???) (i'm calling them that so everyone will want one, lol)

  • washed/dried/folded a load of towels

  • washed/dried bathroom rug

  • emptied out piece of furniture co-worker is borrowing, moved it from closet to downstairs den and wiped it clean

  • made FIVE easter banners

  • had 2 cups of tea and 1 cup of coffee and 1.5 glasses of wine and not nearly enough water

  • watched the husband fix 2 bikes for nephew #1

  • made cheeseburgers and sweet potato fries for dinner

  • went to sleep by 9pm

cheeseburger in paradise (chicken burger/sweet potato fries)

easter banner

limited edition summer banner (there are only 2 in existence - anyone want one?)

sunday:

  • up before the crack of dawn again to get ready for co-worker to pick up chest
  • washed 4 or 5 loads of clothes (at some point it just all gets blurry)
  • made rice and soup for lunches this week
  • worked on secret project for some pregnant chic i know ;-)
  • watched the race (yawn, i found it boring - no big wrecks)
  • cut out a celebration banner for punchy
  • made build your own nachos for dinner
  • drank a cup of peppermint tea
  • fell asleep watching jon&jkate+8

my 'build your own' nachos

i accomplished nearly every thing on my WCC (weekend craft challenge with punchy and pam) save for i didn't get my valentine decorations put away and my easter ones put out...for further details of our super exciting weekend, click here to go to my private blog.

I very very impressed with all you did this weekend!

What do you use to mop with? Like a Wet Jet kind of system or a sponge mop?

I've gotten in the habit of washing the bathroom rug once a week when I was the kitchen rug and dog towels. I dont know how often others wash their bath rug, but ours just looks so pretty freshly washed and then after a few days of walking on it looks matted down and sad.

There is something on your nachos I cant identify. What is it? Chicken? Beef? Something else?

What peice of furniture is coworker borrowing?

AM: i mop with a regular old swiffer wet and i use method counter spray (peppermint) along with it...i'll just spray on the floor and then mop with the swiffer wet. i'm picky about what i clean the floor with cause the cats have to walk on it so i want it non-toxic if possible. when i run out of swiffer wets i'm going to make my own.

co-worker is borrowing a lingerie chest i had in closet full of craft supplies...hence i had no closet space for out of season clothes...it won't fit in room with rest of that bedroom suite

i guess maybe what you cannot identify is the ground beef? there was: chips, ground beef, 2 kinds of cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion, green onion, red pepper and taco sauce. yummy!

You are so busy and get some much accomplished. That burger and fries and nachos look so good. Great job on the banners too.

Good grief you run 10,000 circles around me any day. Those nachos sure do look good. I love the summer banner, too. I can't wait to get my order I placed this week! I'm really curious about what you did that you think we would lose respect for you??
