impatience and the weekend

six thrift stores later and i got nothing (the husband got a book for a quarter though)...my impatience is quickly taking over...i may 'build' this piece of furniture i want for girlville instead...the wheels are spinning in my head...there's no telling what will materialize...

tonite we are doing our normal grocery routine and adding a stop by my parent's house to retrieve our garden loppers. our bushes are out.of.control. i'm craving mexican and a margarita but feeling lazy so i'm going to buy something mexicanish at the grocery. i'm certain there is margarita mix in the fridge. i've got 3 netflix movies that i've had for months. maybe i should watch one.

tomorrow the husband is doing all manner of yard work at our house and his parent's house along with working on a little something something he's making for me. i'm going to help a friend make curtains for her daughter's nursery (ok, that didn't come across just right...i'm helping the grandmother make the curtains for her pregnant daughter's nursery for her upcoming child that's due soon). the husband and i will rendezvous at dinner time and maybe grill out or something as it's supposed to be near record breaking temps of 80+ all weekend. hmmm maybe i should go to the fresh market for something to grill...

sunday i'm going to relax and perhaps do something crafty (goodness knows i've got enough projects started), cook up some lunches for the week and do laundry. late afternoon we have a birthday cookout at the husband's parent's house for our BIL and i am to take my famous roasted potatoes along....

it should be a most delightful weekend!

J's working tonight and during the day Sat and Sunday. I think Emma and I might make the dangerous trek out to Wal Mart and get a kiddy pool to enjoy the 80+ degree temperatures. Should make for some cute pictures. I really dont want to go to Wal-Mart though. We'll see.

Oh, boy, I'm interested to see what you come up with if you decide to make the girlville piece of furniture. Sounds like a busy weekend for y'all. You must share recipe for roasted potatoes! I am going to help with a yard sale at my parents' house ... leaving in about four hours from now. I can't sleep and that will make for a long day tomorrow.
